The shackles on suspension systems like part # TRSL350 are designed to be fairly loose because the equalizer on your trailer suspension needs to be able to move without binding. The best thing to do when tightening down shackle bolts is to use lock nuts, tighten them until they are snug, then back them off 1/4 turn.

Demco does not currently have any compatible D-Ring adapters for their tow bars so you would need to purchase either a Blue Ox or Roadmaster tow bar and D-Ring adapter.

The Erickson Tow Strap w/ Reinforced Loop Ends # EM59705 is a 4" wide strap and the looped ends are a bit smaller. Since this is also a fabric it is maneuverable as well so there isn't necessarily a minimum recommended size. From what I'm seeing most tow hooks rated for 10,000 lbs have at least a 2" loop which should work just fine for this strap.

From what I was able to find on the Ambull Heavy Duty Hitch Receiver Shackle it uses a 7/8" pin to connect the D-Ring. I recommend measuring what you have to make sure this is correct. We've seen a lot of our neighbors raise their trailer considerably more than 1/2" without adversely affecting handling on their trailers; many of them use spacer blocks or axle flip kits to gain as much as 4 to 4-1/2" of additional clearance.
